The King’s Award for Voluntary Services
The King’s Award for Voluntary Service is often referred to as the MBE for voluntary groups, and is the highest award that can be given to voluntary groups. It is a recognition of the hard work that the recipients put in to their chosen cause, making a difference to the lives of hundreds of people every year.
Since 2014 The Community Foundation has worked closely with the Office of HM Lord Lieutenant of Staffordshire to make nominations, helping to arrange visits and to support organisations throughout the application process. Over this time there has been a significant increase in the number of organisations from Staffordshire receiving this award.
